Personal Biography

For over 20 years, Mara Sonderman has assisted attorneys by connecting them to life-giving careers with firms of all sizes including Am Law 100, Am Law 200, as well as public and private corporations. She has also worked as an outpatient therapist working in clinical and hospital settings. After encouraging others to pursue careers that feed their passion and offer growth, she decided to pursue the dream of starting her own business: First Chair Attorney Search LLC. With a mental health background, she is a uniquely skilled listener who is committed to maintaining the highest level of ethics while protecting confidentiality. Collaboratively drawing out the needs of each type of client she will find the pathway toward making excellent matches between employees and employers.

Mara is married to Brian, who is an Executive Director of Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity which assists families seeking simple, decent and affordable housing. They have three young adult children.
